Show SURPRISE PARTY. Last Tuesday evening eighteen friends of Miss May Pickett pleasantly pleasant-ly surprised her at her homo at 3111 Porter Ave. The evening was spent in games and music. Mr. John Emmott rendered a vocal solo, accoinpanlng himself with the ukelole. A delightful delight-ful luncheon was served by Mrs. D. G. Pickett, assisted by Mrs. Geo W. Wess-Ier Wess-Ier and Mrs. Jos. Parsons, Miss Maud Jones acted as toastmistress. Those present were: Misses Gwendolyn Nelson, Nel-son, Ada Wright, May Pickett, Louise Browning, Lenoro Croft, Maud Jones, veta Jones, Lavon Pickett, Vilate Pickett, Doris Gutke. Messrs, John Emmett, Frank Robinson,; Stewart I Campbell, Dan Hickman. Thomas Hickman, John Grossley, Delbert I Wright and Robert Wilkenson. |
