Allan and the use of abusive and vile language, form the basis of a suit for divorce filed yesterday by Olive B. Allan, in the district court. Mrs. Allan charges in the complaint, that in addition to this abus. the defendant "jabbed a hot fork in her hand," causing her great bodily pain. Inez Allan, daughter of Mr. Al- lan through a former marriage is also charged by Mrs. Allan in the complaint with making life generally gener-ally miserable and at various periods pe-riods ordering her to leave the Allan Al-lan home. vrhe daughter is alleged in one instance to have remarked, "It generally takes me but three months to drive stepmothers away." At one time, according to allegations alle-gations in the complaint, Mr. Allan Al-lan inflicted such cruel treatment I that she became confined to her bed for several days, arid treatment treat-ment of similar character has been forthcoming from the defendant for a period of three years, she alleged. Mrs. Allan prays that her matrimonial matri-monial ties be severed and she T?e awarded alimony. The couple were married in Ogden, January S, 1908. |
