Hendershot. who has been appointed ap-pointed local manager of the Hiram ' Johnson for president organization, 1 declares that sentiment is piling up everywhere in tho slate for the Call- j fornia senator. "We are not fighting any other can- J didate for the Republican nomina- ! tion," Mr. Hendershot said. "We are for Johnson now and think he Is the man the people want. But, we shall support any Republican nominated for the presidency." Mr. Hendershot was a member of ' the committee, which entertained Johnson, in Ogden in 1912 when Johnson John-son was" the running mate of Theodore I Roosevelt on the Progressive party ticket. nn
