Show Deatk and Funerals FOWERS. Charles Alfred Fowers, Sr., died Friday Fri-day evening, at 11:30 o'clock at the residence in Hooper, following an attack at-tack of heart trouble. He was born in Derbyshire, England, December 20, 1S62, and was the son of Jessie and Sarah Johnson Fowers. He camo to America in 1864. He married Miss Mary A. Cox, Nov. 10, 1885, in Logan, where they lived for a few years. They also lived in Ogden, but moved to Hooper In 1869. He Is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. William Douglas, Mrs. Alex Russell, Alfred Fowers, Mrs. Floyd Derin, Levi J. Glen. Ruby and Clarence Fowers; the following brothers and sisters: Joseph, Jessie. Frank and Arthur Fowers, Fow-ers, Mrs. Annie Byington, Mrs. Sarah Simpson, and ton grandchildren. .He was an active member of the L. D. S. church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock In the Hoopor meeting house, services will be conducted con-ducted by Bishop James Beus. The body may be viewed at the homo Monday Mon-day and Tuesday. Flowers may be left at the Lindquist funeral chapel until 11 o'clock Tuesday. Burial will bo in the Hooper cemetery. MORLEY. Funeral services for Thoma3 Morley will be held at tho Lindquist chapel today at 2 o'clock, Bishop W. O, Ridges conducting. The body may bo viewed at the Lindquist parlor until the time of the services. BOWEN. Funeral services for Martha Bowen wore held Saturday at 10 o'clock at the Larkln & Sons' funeral chapel. Bishop Counsellor A. R. Foulger officiating. offi-ciating. "Soma Sweot Day," was sung by Mrs. Castle Murphy and Mrs. Lilly Wangsgaard. "My Loved One Rest," and "My Father Knows," were sung by Douglas Brian, Tho speakers were Arund Baker and A. R. Foulger. , Interment was In the Ogden city cemetery, ceme-tery, where E. A. Larkln dedicated tho grave. BATES. Oren Bates, of Syracuse, died Friday evening at 11 o'clock at the home. His death was unexpected and came as a shock to the family. He is survived by a son and daughter. He was born In Ophlr, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Bates. Time and place of funeral will bo announced later. Nagasaiva rRcv. R.
