First Will the author of tho ar- 5 tlcle, who designates Alfred W. Agee as a Republican, kindly Inform the j public upon what ticket Judge Agee received the election to the offica he now holds, and upon what authority, ! in view of tho fact that he stumped the district for the Democratic noml- ; nees and against the Republican nom- ; inees in 1916, he is now classed as a Republican? Second Who is tho Salt Lake law- ! yor who wrote the laudatory letter to "friends" in tho three counties in this district from which the quotation con-! tained In the artlclo Is taken, and from whom did the Tribune reporter get tho letter? Third What interests does this outside out-side attorney represent that he should, be so keenly concerned In the per- sonnel of tho Judiciary of thi3 dls-. t.riet? Fourth Who mado tho canvass among tho members of tho Ogden bar association from which it is assorted that tho members of tho bar favor the perpetuation in offlco of the present pres-ent Democratic incumbents? Was it either of the judges now on the bench who assumed to call in the lawyers practicing beforo thorn to criticize them as to tholr preference, or was it tho secretary of tho Democratic Demo-cratic county commltteo who also reports re-ports for the Bait Lake Tribune? And why was I, being one of the oldest practitioners In Ogden, not shown tho lottor, nor asked for my view in this matter? Fifth Why should such Republican Republi-can Judicial timber as Judge Kimball, Kim-ball, Judge Harris, Judgo Howell, Judge Roberts, Judge Murphy, Davia Jenson, George Halverson. John C. Davis, John Sneddon, J. G. Willis, Judge Recder, Judge Barker, C. R. Holllngsworth, Arthur Woolley. J..H. DeVlne, R. S. Farnsworth, J. E. Evans, W. R. Skeen, R. J. Douglas, L. J. Holthor, C. M. Marriott, R. H. Baumunk, S. C. Powell, H. A. Soder-berg, Soder-berg, D. L. Stine, V. C. Gunnell and others whom might be named be excluded ex-cluded from consideration by outsiders? outsid-ers? Why should outsiders attempt to foist upon tho voters of this district dis-trict the judges who are to administer affairs in our courts when we might desire others?
