McCIellan and- WlUard E, Welhe, who have just arrived from several sev-eral concert tours In Idaho and Utah, express ex-press themselves as pleased both by the large attendance of music lovers and the evidence of appreciation manifest by those in attendance. Professor McCIellan McCIel-lan said that he and professor Weihe appeared ap-peared in the Garland tabernacle last Tuesday and in the Logan tabernacle i Wednesday, unusual interest being taken. He regards this appreciation as a matter of much gratification, himself and Mr. Welhe having so long held a position among the leading soloists of the state. Messrs. Weihe and McCIellan are steadily main tain ing their professional duties In the city, yet have of late found time to give successful concerts at Grace, Idaho, where professor J. M. Pa I ley and his choir of thirty-five gave valuable assistance: as-sistance: at the. idaho State Normal school. Warner on Tour Next Week Marjorie Dodge Warner, brilliant and prominent soprano, , who has delighted thousands of Salt Lakers by her solo work with the Salt Lake Oratorio society, will leave next week for a brief concert tour in southern Utah. Mrs. Warner will sing in Cedar City, St. George. Parowan and probably one or two other places. Her programmes will be mostly English and will include ballads, folk songs and some operatic selections. Miss Becky Almond, one of Salt Lake's best known young pianists, pi-anists, will be Mrs. Warner's accompanist accompan-ist and will also contribute some piano solos to the programmes. Pupils of Miss Hall Give Good Impression Pupils of the senior class of Miss Matlo Hull were heard in a piano recital at her studio, 1311 East Fourth South street, Saturday afternoon. All of the students created "a favorable impression in presenting pre-senting a difficult and instructive programme. pro-gramme.
