Show FAMOUS VAL VERDA IS DEVELOPING RAPIDLY gill - n Scene showing a portion of the main thoroughfare of Val Verda, seven and one-half miles north of Salt Lake, on the Centerville car line and a half-dozen of the many beautiful homes erected at Val Verda. Val Verda residents are showing uncommon un-common foresight in constructing substantia sub-stantia and beautiful homes on their one-acre tracts, according to V. A. Bet-tilyon, Bet-tilyon, president of the Bettilyon Home Builders, developers of the Val Verda tract. Bungalows of the most modern type, equipped with all the modern conveniences, conven-iences, are going up there with astonishing aston-ishing rapidity. The entire aspect of Val Verda will be changed within a few months, declares de-clares Mr. Bettilyon. So many houses are being erected, so many trees planted, plant-ed, and so many acre-gardens .being put under cultivation that the whole side of the foothills, which Val Verda occupies, occu-pies, is taking on the appearance of a beautiful, flourishing suburban district. "Warm spring sunshine which we have been having during the past two or three weeks, ' continued Mr. Bettilyon, Bet-tilyon, ' ' is bringing the gardens up with remarkable rapidity. Several .residents .resi-dents of Val Verda have already begun to pick radishes and lettuce and are anticipating the use of many other vegetables within the near future which grow so readily in the rich Val Verda soil. "Row upon row of green stuff already al-ready springing from the ground makes the acre-lots beautifully green and attractive. at-tractive. "I cannot emphasize too stronriy the advantages which come from moving out of the city to an acre at Val Verda. It is unquestionably the quickest, easiest eas-iest and healthiest road to independence indepen-dence that the salaried man can possibly pos-sibly find. "One is now impressed month after month with the appalling food bills which come in to the residents of the city. At Val Verda, Mother Earth is the direct provider, and according to the testimony of many Val Verda residents, resi-dents, she is generous in the extreme. ' ' There are many members of Val Verda families working in town, who find it easy to reach work in the morning morn-ing and return in the evening in plenty of time for work in the garden. Considering Con-sidering the reasonable price for Val Verda acres, coupled with tho many advantages ad-vantages of a combined city and 'country 'coun-try life, there should be no hesitancy on the part of the city wage earner to establish himself at the earliest possible moment on a Val Verda acre." |
