The local service station is to be congratulated upon securing so efficient effi-cient a young man- as Mr. Matheny for work in the local -field. Direct from the factory of the Hatfield Hat-field company at Chicago, and also from the automobile schools of the "Windy Cit5,J where he was an instructor, in-structor, S. E. Matheny was prevailed upon to join the force at the battery carburetor and ignition station of the Kd ards- Warden Motor Parts company com-pany at 131 East Broadway, and will be in charge of part of the work at this busy corner. Mr. Matheny dates his entrance into the automobile game back some twelve years. He has been a carburetion and ignition expert fos over five years, and has attained perfection in the branches he claims to master in factory work. Mr. Matheny is familiar with all auto work and repairing, but he specializes on ignition and carburetion, the two most complicated and least understood systems of the modern motor car of the resent. He will use his talents in he-half he-half of . the Edwards-Warden Motor Parts company on the Miller carburetor, carbu-retor, for which the company are loral agents, and also to repairing and tuning tun-ing nil makes of carburetors, especially the Ravfield. Mr. Matheny was in charge of the Itayfield carburetor service station in Chicago when called to Salt Lake. He has also worked in Haynes and Chan- |
