Show EVANS CALLED TO NATIONAL CAPITAL Frank Evans left a few days ago in response to a telegram summoning him to Washington. Some time ago Mr. Evans volunteered his services to the government, having taken military training, but was not accepted. He wifl subsequently requested to undertake under-take administrative work of a legal nature, and left for Washington recently re-cently for that purpose. At the present tint his work is confined to camps and cniltouments on the Atlantic coast, but it is quite probable that he may ultimately go to France. Mrs. Evans left last Wednesdav to ioin Iter husband in Washington, where, it is understood, she will be in the Red Cross service at the Walter Keid mili-tarv mili-tarv hospital in the ward for convalescents. |
