With official reports in at the close of business todav showing $170,321,250 in Liberty bonds of the third issue taken in the tenth federal reserve district, it was announced at bond headquarters the district had subscribed 131 per cent of its bond quota. . Every state in the district was "over the top," but officials estimated reports of subscriptions sub-scriptions yet to come in until May 9 would increase the grand total at least $10,000,000. Topeka, Kansas, with a subscription of $2,232,450, was 191.8 subscribed and, it was believed, stands a good chance of doubling Its quota, obtaining a star for its honor flag.
