Show WAR PICTURES BEING SHOWN IN OPEN AIR Fleets of Shows Sent Out From London Are Enjoyed by Thousands of persons. LONDON. May 4. Tho new ministry of information has sent out a fleet of ten automobile moving picture rIiows. designed de-signed to exhibit war films In villages and outlying districts. The screen Is net up in the open air ot a distance of about 100 feet from the "cine -motor-car," and the hint alia tlon in powerful enough so that tven at dusk 20,000 persons can see the pictures with ease. The crewH of the ten cars consist entirely of soldiers who have hucd service in France. The selection of filnit Includes the usual run of official pfei ureN, one 111 us- tratlng Great Britain's progress In Zeppelin Zeppe-lin building, another showing British' bomb-dropulng squadrons In flight, another an-other of tanks In action, and several showing America's war effort. The lighter light-er touch Is supplied by a number of war cartoons. |
