Show I KENTUCKY-DOUGLAS PUSHES DEVELOPMENT Pome rich ore samples from the Ken-tueky-Donclas property, tn the Silver Island district, were brought to Salt Lake yesterday by Manacer L. C. Isom. The ore is silver-lead In character and the samples. Mr. Isom reports, wiere taken from the incline shaft and yielded assav values of nearly $2(10 a ton. I Development work at present, is beinqr i confined to the driving of a tunnel which is expected to intercept an ore body at depth. Mr. Isom reports that the forma-j forma-j tion in the tunnel is breaking up and showing sitrns of ledge or vein matter and that several pockets of ore have been encountered. The tunnel, when the objective ob-jective Is reached. Is expected to give a working depth of about S0O feet. The face of the tunnel is almost under the shaft and the management predicts that it is only a question of feet until the objective Is attained. |
