Show STANDARD INSTALLS NEW COMPRESSOR New Record Established in April, When 3500 Tons Were Shipped. SpeciaJ to The Tribune. EUREKA, Utah, May 4. A new compressor com-pressor is being installed at the property prop-erty of the Tiutic Standard. It is not large, but it will increase the mine's compressor captivity sufficiently for immediate im-mediate needs, and when this equipment equip-ment is outgrown it will probably be replaced by a thoroughly modern plant. The month of April was the best month in the history of the Standard, the output amounting to 3500 tons. That the present month will be even better is the information passed out by the officers of the company, unless unexpected difficulties are encountered. Underground conditions continue to improve im-prove at the Standard, aud if reports are correct there is ore everywhere, the prospect drifts started on the main ore lovel having brought into tho productive produc-tive stage a lot of new ground. The motor trucks are taking care of the ore hauling in nice shape, and this problem, which some months ago appeared ap-peared to be a serious one, has been I solved in a satisfactory manner. Last ; week the mine shipped a total of six- j teen carloads of ore, and about seven- ;ctMi were loaded this week. This is! about all that can be hoisted at the present time, but any amount of ore could be broken down from the large deposits. |
