Show I BIG SHIPMENT OF pn Mrs on way Acute Situation at Botterill Agency About to Be Relieved. A large and complete shipment of Hudson Hud-son Super-Six motor cars is en route to Salt Lake and will begin arriving within the next few days. Tills was the news received by telegram at the Botterill Automobllo company's establishment on State street Friday, and Frank Botterill declares it will relieve a situation on Hudsons, so far as the Salt Lake store is concerned, that was rap-Idly rap-Idly becoming acute. Hudson Super-Sixes have moved out of the Botterill company's salesrooms very rapidly the past two months and it would have soon been Impossible for the company to make deliveries to customers. With the news that twenty-five to thJrty Hudson Super-Six touring cars are now en route, however, Frank Botterill is assured of a sufficient supply of Hudson Hud-son cars to take care of his immediate needs. As an illustration of the freight equipment equip-ment situation prevailing in the east, advices ad-vices regarding the big shipment of Hudson Hud-son Super-Sixes state that they are coming com-ing through on gondolas, flat cars, box car8cattle cars and every other sort freight car. - One of the most interesting "drive-away" "drive-away" shipments made by any member I of the Botterill company this year was that of C. E. Bandman, the Pierce-Arrow talesman for the Botterill company, who drove the beautiful Pierce-Arrow "48" touring car from Salt Lake to Idaho Falls last week and delivered it to the Blair Motor Car company of Idaho Falls. The Blair company purrchased the Pferce-Arrow as a demonstrator. This is one of the few Pierce-Arrow cars purchased pur-chased for exclusive demonstrating purposes pur-poses by Mr. Botterill's Idaho dealers this year. Mr. Bandman reports a fine trip and declares this beautiful Pferce-Arrow attracted at-tracted a great deal of attention all the way up to Idaho Falls, and when he arrived ar-rived at the latter city every automobile dealer in town gathered at the Blair company's place of business to inspect the car. "I have never seen any group of men more frankly enthusiastic over the car than those Idaho Fall automobile dealers," deal-ers," declares Mr. Bandman. "Although they were all competitors of the Blair company, they were very generous In their praise of the beauty of this Pierce-Arrow. Pierce-Arrow. The proprietor of the largest mercantile Institution in Idaho Falls came up and declared smilingly he had closed up his place to come over and look at the car that was attracting so much attention." I Another interesting Fierce-Arrow an- nouncement made by the Botterill company com-pany is the fact that the company has just received its first two-ton Pierce-Ar-row truck, carrying the new four-speed transmission, together with a great deal of special equipment, and carrying the special- equipment with which the gov- ernment has ordered the new Plerce-Ar-row trucks to be equipped. The new four-speed transmission on the Pierce-Arrow truck has attracted a great deal of attention throughout the east because of the greatlv increased rate of power and speed given the truck through the use of this new transmission. Mr. Botterill reports the situation on Dodge Brothers delivery in Salt Lake as about holding its own with the shipment, ship-ment, and at the present time the company com-pany can make immediate delivery on a limited num-ber of Dodge Brothers touring tour-ing cars and Dodge Brothers sedans. |
