Show PRINCE LETS NEW S SHAFT CONTRACT Contract for sinking a new double com-partment com-partment working shaft was let during the week by the Prince Consolidated to' Walter Fitch, dr., of Eureka. The shaft is to be put down to the 500 level, and ultimately is to be continued downward to two important ore zones which were located oy diamond drills. It is expected' that work will be completed on the new' shaft in sixty to ninety days. To facilitate facili-tate the work it is proposed to start raises from tho 100 and 500 levels at the same time the work is started on the surface. It has been announced that tho differences differ-ences between the Prince and the Virginia-Louise have been satisfactorily adjusted ad-justed and that liie two concerns are to get along as good neighbors should. The Bullionville mill of the Prince is reported to be working satisfactorily, treating 150 tons of ore daily. The mill is turning out concentrates carrying values of approximately approx-imately $50 a ton. |
