Plummer of Salt Lake g-ave an address and a musical programme was given giv-en by the Midvale .school orchestra under the direction of Gustave Schuster of Salt Lake. Dr. and Mrs. G. A. Robertson of Canada returned to their home last Monday, after having spent the winter with their sister, Mrs. J. E. Robertson. Miss Laura Brindley entertained the members of the Five Hundred club last Monday afternoon at her home in Salt Lake. The Mutual Improvement association gave a social dancing party last Wednesday Wednes-day evening in the amusement hall of the L. D. S. church. One of the chief events of the week was the St. Patrick's bridge luncheon given by Miss Honore Stagg, assisted by Mrs. W. B. Jones of Thistle at the former's home. The decorations were tastefully carried out in green. Those receiving prizes were Mrs. James A. Alcorn, Mrs. L. E. Johnson, Mrs. Charles Lehman, Mrs. Andrew Larson, Mrs. H. P. The decorations decora-tions and refreshments carried out the green and gold color scheme of the flag of Erin. Irish music and' "500" furnished the entertainment. About twenty guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Thompson entertained enter-tained with a dancing party on the 17th at the Remington in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Sam C. Forter, who have recently returned from Los Angeles. Refreshments were served, and the entire evening thoroughly thor-oughly enjoyed by the goodly number present. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Quay have returned from Ohio, where they spent the winter. Mrs. Frank J. French and Mrs. V. J. French pf Montpelier are visiting relatives rela-tives in American Falls. The Moose lodge gave a dance and supper sup-per in the Odeon hall on Saturday evening. even-ing. March 17. Excellent music was furnished fur-nished and the hall was filled to capacity. On the evening of March lii the members mem-bers of the Methodist church gave a delightful de-lightful Irish programme of snngs. instrumental instru-mental selections and readings, all of bona fide Irish origin, were, well rendered by the best local talent, and highly enjoyed en-joyed by all present. The Mormon church was the scene of another brave celebration in honor of the anniversary of the organization of the Relief society. An excellent programme pro-gramme was followed by a bounteous repast, re-past, making the evening a very enjoyable one. Miss Nettie Rice entertained twelve ladies at "dOO" Tuesday evening. Dr. Allen of Arco, accompanied by his daughter, Gladys, returned to his home after a short visit in American Falls. Mrs. H. F. A 'Relief society reunion, re-union, including seven wards, was held Friday at the First ward tabernacle to commemorate the seventy -fifth anniversary anniver-sary of the society. At 2 o'clock the reunion re-union opened with a programme of vocal and instrumental music and recitations. A prominent feature of the programme was a paper by Bishop John F. Conley of the Portage ward, reviewing the history of the society from its organization in 1S42 up to the present time. The celebration closed with a ball in the evening.
