LAROX NELSON, editor of the I Utonian, and his group of aa- sistants are busily engaged completing com-pleting arrangements for the publication of the University of Utah year hook. The hook will make its appearance ap-pearance ou the campus in May and will oe a record of the spirit and the events of the year at the university. The editorial staff refuses to give out much information concerning the annual, an-nual, since to do so would deprive the book of much of the novelty and charm. It is announced, however, that the book will contain seven sections and 320 paes, thirty-six more pages than last year. Many new features have been added and mure organizations will be represented than evor before. The athletic ath-letic section will be made up in a new form and will give greater prominence to this activity. In addition to the abundance of information in-formation which the Utonian usually contains concerning the university, the book this year will give a history of the University of Utah from its beginning. In the pHflt lie editor of the life sec-1 sec-1 tion of the book h;is felt somewhat restrained re-strained in giving out humorous gossip and harmless scandal which goes into that section on account of the editor's being well known. To give additional life, to tho book this year the editing of this section of the book has been given to four persons and tho names of all kept a secret. An result it is expected thut the Kection will fairly gloat in its new found freedom. Tho staff consists of Claron Nelson, editor; Harry Kudine, business manager; man-ager; Margaret Marshall and Vera Tracy, Tra-cy, artists; Don Carlos Wood and Clyde Chamberlain, photographers; John Sug-den, Sug-den, artist: Spencer Keid, photographer; Meriam Wells, society editor; Theron Parmelee and Marjorie Whitoley, calendar calen-dar editors. The seven sections comprising the book are: Classes, activities, athletics, organizations, campus year, life and advertising. |
