OCR Text	Show URGES $1,000,000,000 PRESENT FOR FRANCE Governor S'.nlon Bamberger yesterday received a telegram from the 2s"ew York World asking bin opinion on the matter of the United Stains government making mak-ing a present of $1,0'0,000,CWO to France to discharge the debt of this country to the French government for its aid in the struggle for independence and to aid Franco in her present war needs. The World is advocating such an appropriation ap-propriation by compress and asks the governor V views on tho sub feet. Governor Gov-ernor Bamberger has not expressed his views as yet.
