The contract between be-tween the Iron Blossom, and tho Tintic Tin-tic Central mining companies for the joint clrU'tinc; on Iron Blossom ground 1 to the Tintic Central has been drawn i and is ready to be signed, -which, it is expected, it will be as soon as J. William Knight returns from Spring Canyon, ( and work will begin immediately thereafter. there-after. The drift will be on the 1700 level of the Iron Blossom, starting at a point almost due west of the Tintic Central 1 shaft. It will open Tintic Central ground at a depth of 1500 feet, 500 feet deeper than tho present workings. The drift on the Iron Blossom ground will tfo through very promising territory, on j which no work has been done except 1 prospecting with a diamond drill a few years ago, which showed very encouraging encour-aging mineralisation. Ore is expected to be developed -in the drift, and the Tintic Central people expect it to extend ex-tend into their ground. Favorable working arrangements for taking the ore out through the Iron Blossom nre a part of the contract. The work on the drift will not interrupt work on the Tintic Central, where it is now being done, and where conditions are reported report-ed to be very promising. |
