PERSIAN TOWN OF KERIND CAPTURED BY THE RUSSIANS PETROGRAD, March 24, via London, Lon-don, 3:45 p. m. The capture by Russian Rus-sian troops of the Persian town of Kerind in tho sector of west of Kor-manshah, Kor-manshah, about forty miles from the Mesopotamian border, is announced by the war office. Pursuit of the Turks toward the Mesopotamian border continues. con-tinues. The anouncement follows: In the direction of Kamadau our troops on March 17 occupied the town of Kerind, which had been set on fire and destroyed by the Turks. The enemy withdrew to positions in the vicinity of the village of Khair. The pursuit continues.
