Show FARMER IS STAR IN BEAVERS' DAILY GAME, Special to The Tribune. MAKYSVILLE, March 24. Floyd : Former was the hero of a game between Bill Bodgers's regulars and Gus Fisher's , Yannigans this afternoon. The Beaver outfield played with Fisher's crowd and ' they won out, 9 to 4. In the third in- i ning Farmer hit a ball that rolled through a hole in the right field fence with two on and put the Yannigans in the lead. Floyd got three bings for the day and the way he fielded made Mc-Credit Mc-Credit a very happy man. Some of Nick Williams's Spokane players filled in with the Beavers. Houck and Zweifel started the pitching and Schorr and Pruitt finished it up. The latter two were not very aggressive and have no chance of ousting Zweifel from his job. Houck worked nicely until un-til Farmer cracked the fluke homer. Zweifel and Wilio were on base at the time. The regulars made two in the fourth on Harry Harper's single, O'Brien's double, Petner s out and a wild pitch. Wilie's triple to right center cen-ter in the fifth started the onslaught. McGinnis's single scored WBie, Farmer's Farm-er's double to right scored McGinnis and Fisher 's double rgaiust the long left field fence scored another. A two bagger by Kronz and Eiglin's single sent in the third for the regulars. Bigbee s single, Schorr '9 triple, Wilie's scratch single, a double steal and Farmer's single gave the Yans three more in the eighth, while the regulars made their fourth in the eighth on a single by Harper and Penner and Pruitt 's out. The score: Yannigans, 9 runs, 14 hits, 1 error; regulars, 4 runs, lz hits, 4 errors. Portland plays the Spokane club here tomorrow.
