FRENCH TROOPS ADVANCE SOUTH OF ST. QUENTIN PAEIS, March 24, 2:0$ p. m. The French continued to push forward last night in the region south of St. Quen-tin Quen-tin in which heavy fighting has been in progress for several clays. They reached the west bank of the thse north of La Fere and gained additional ground east of the Aillette river. , The statement follows: Fast of the St. Quentiu canal we enlarged our positions appreciably du ring the nigh r.
