" - . .. ever purchased by" the city of Salt Lake were ordered last week from the West-fall West-fall company, automobiles, 421-23 South Main street, distributors throughout this section for the Stephens Six, the Orow-Elkhart Orow-Elkhart cars, the Mack & Sauer motor trucks and the Wunder Form-a-truck. The order for the Mack trucks was placed after President and General Manager K. C. Westfall and Sales Manager Man-ager A. V. Rothwell of the Westfall company had convinced the city authorities authori-ties that these are among- the most powerful, pow-erful, dependable and economical of any motor truck on the market. The officials of the Westfall company are gratified in securing the city's order, or-der, inasmuch as the Westfall company, automobiles, are new entrants into the local automobile field. The trucks will be used by the city street department. Sales Manager Rothwell of the West-fall West-fall company announced yesterday that the fifteen Crow-Elkhart pleasure cars that have been en route for several weeks from the factory have been located lo-cated on the Denver & Rio Grande sys- tem, and will be delivered in time to be installed on the companv 's sales l'loor at 421-23 South Main street early this week, in all probability not later than Tuesday morning. Scores of motor ear purchasers who have investigated the records made by Crow-Elkhart cars elsewhere else-where have been awaiting the arrival of this shipment of fifteen cars, and Sales Manager Eothwell reports that at least half of the initial shipment is sold and will immediately be delivered to purchasers. Mr. Eothwell was successful success-ful in getting the first five of the company's com-pany's Stephen Six ears unloaded last week and these will be ready for in- spection Monday and Tuesday of this week. Mr. Eothwell declares that Salt Lake and Utah are easily among the finest automobile centers in the entire country. coun-try. "I am astonished nt the activity prevalent all through this section in automobile au-tomobile circles, because your population is far more scattered than in the more congested eastern districts, where one naturally expects a great deal of motor car buying," declares Mr. Eothwell.
