TO INAUGURATE NEW LINE OF STEAMERS TOKIO, March 24. Following the example ex-ample of tha Osaka Shoson Kaisha, which inangurated a now steamship service ser-vice to South America with Yokohama fia it starting point, th Nippon Y listen Kaisha has decided to also open a new I lino of steamers on the same routo. The line will start from Yokonama and extend ex-tend to South American ports, via Singapore Singa-pore and the Cape of Good Hope, the new service to oe rnaurniratcd with the i liner Wakasa Mam (6000 tons) in March. The service will be maintained quarterly. Besides carrrinp cargo for and from Pouth America, the liners will carry Japanese emigrants to Brazil and other , South American states, and already the ' steamship company has coueluded a con tract with the emigration concerns for ' carrying 20,000 emigrants to South America in the course of four years, commencing in March.
