German submarine gave warning, time crew take to boats. Konald Backed and ' ; bombs placed on board and sunk. No ' vessel in sight. Sea Bmooth, weather ' fine; no casualties and only one Ameri-can Ameri-can aboard. Vessel flew Norwegian t, flag and usual marks on both sides. '
