DEPOSITS IN UTAH BANKS SHOW ENORMOUS INCREASES Gain of Nearly $7,000,000 for Quarter ver the Preceding Three Months, State Bank Commissioner Reports. AN increase in savings deposits in the tanks of the state during the last quarter over the preceding quarter of nearly $7,000,000 is the feature of the consolidated bank statement issued yesterday by State Bank Commissioner Evans for the quarter ending March IS last. In the preceding quarter the savings deposits totaled $22,872,506.91, while during the quarter fust closed thev totaled $29,011,383.20. The total resources of the banks, however, show a decrease of a little less than $2,000,000 tor the quarter.
