OCR Text	Show DAVE BARNETT NABS DESERTER; EARNS $50 A reward of $50 was received by Dave Barnett yesterday when he brought G. X. Tfest, a deserter from Fort Logan, to the Fort Douglas post. Mr. Barnett was a deputy sheriff of Utah county under Jesse M. Harmon for seven years. He also was city marshal mar-shal at Payson for four years. He is now deputy sheriff at Pocatelio, Idaho, where he landed West. West deserted two weeks ago from Fort Logan, Colo. It was by means of one of the descriptions which the au-j au-j thorities at the Colorado fort sent broadcast that Barnett discovered West I when he and his pal attempted to forge a postoffice money order at Pocatelio. West escaped from Fort Logan while he was being court-martialed.
