Show POCATELLO, IDA. 4 1 "POCATELLO, Idaho, Feb. 17 The marriage mar-riage of Miss Laura Williams to Frank Thatcher was a pretty event of Wednesday Wednes-day at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. George Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Thatcher took a wedding trip to Salt Lake City before returning to Rohiu, where they will make their homo-Mrs. homo-Mrs. E. D. Harrison and Mrs. Ezra Merrill entertained Monday in honor of Miss Ijuira Williams, the dvent being in the nature of a linen shower. Miss Williams Wil-liams was the recipient of many social attentions at-tentions last week, among them heim,' a miscellaneous shower at which Mrs. .1. B. Trist was hostess; a china shower given by Mrs. Elizabeth Rooker and Miss Myrtle Myr-tle Hyde, and a towel shower given by the Young Ladies' Mutual society of the Second ward L. D. S. church. Mrs. W. X. McCartv left Monday for California, where she will visa for some time. Mrs. Robert P. Fairbanks was hostess 1o her bridge club last Saturday afternoon. after-noon. The Altar society of St. Joseph's church held a card party Tuesday evening at Knights of Columbus hall. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nkholis of Bla.-k-foot spent the week-end in this rity. They were accompanied home by Mr. Nicholas's parents, who came here from Butte on a, visit. The ladies of tho Episcopal church held a travel social Monday afternoon. David Simpson.
