Show OAKES ATTENDING FISK CONVENTION E. T. Oakes, manager of the local branch of the Fisk Rubber company, has left for Chicopee Falls, Mass., to attend the convention of the branch managers, which will be in progress throughout the week of February 12. Mr. Oake9 went from here to Chicago, 1 where he met about eighty fellow- branch managers, who boarded the "Fisk confer-i confer-i ence special"' over the New York Cen-j Cen-j tral line that will carry the party through to Us destination. The Fisk sales organization Is one of the largest and best organized in the country. H embraces a chain of 125 j direct factory branches throughout the United States and is further supported by 50,000 dealers who carry stocks of Fisk tires. Moreover, each Fisk branch fa a eervice-statton. eervice-statton. where dismounting, reassembling and changing of tires is given to motorists motor-ists free of charge, irrespective of the make of tires or tubes which they are using. At the convention of Fisk branch managers, man-agers, which is to be held at the big rartory in Chicopee Falls. Mass.. there win be conducted an extensive four-dav programme, which will bring the selling and production organizations into cIoppt relations. Sales, advertising, production and credit departments will each come into contact with the field men, with a view to giving motorists everywhere better bet-ter tires, better distribution and better service. |
