I I SO FAK this season, the Carbon County Coun-ty high school team has been wonderfully won-derfully successful, coming off victors in every contest stntTcd by substantial si'oes. Last year tli"-y were champions of eastern L'Eah division and have ev ery prospect of repeating. The team is 50 per cent stronger this year than last, according to competent critics who have seen it in action. The highest score: made so far was against the Green-river Green-river high school, when the Carbon quintette piled up a total of 10S points to 17 for their opponents. They have beaten every opposing team so far with the exception of Huntington, by over twenty points. The score of the" Hunt- j ington game was 36 to 31 in favor of ' Carbon. i |
