Show GEORGE B. WALLACE HONORED BY FAMILY Descendants of Late Pioneer Observe Ono Hundredth Anniversary; Association Formed. The one hundredth birthday anniversary anni-versary of George B. Wallace was celebrated cele-brated Friday night in the Seventeenth ward amusement hall. Andrew Jenson offered the invocation and Bishop Daniel McKae gave a brief address. The programme consisted of music and readings, read-ings, after which dancing was enjoyed by the guests. The George B. "Wallace association was organized, with Howes C. Wallace, chairman, and Harold Wallace, secretary-treasurer. A committee was also appointed to discuss the advisability of holding a reunion two years hence. A family benefit fund was created to be used for members in need, in case of accident or for missionary expenses. George B. Wallace is survived by nearly 300 descendants, his children having hav-ing numbered forty-four. The following follow-ing are living: James B. Wallace of Milford, Ohio1; John K., It. C, George B., William, Alonzo, Arthur, Henrv, Thomas. -Noble, George A., Joseph B, D. S., Mrs. Lucv Mclntyre, Mrs. Harry K. Garrett, Mrs. Zina Little, Mrs. Lois Watson, Mrs. Dorothy Dudley, Mrs. Ida Jenspn and Mrs. Lydia Covington. t All but five were in attendance last night. |
