Show MALAD, IDAHO f f MALAD, Feb. 17. The Home Culture club entertained at a valentine party Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Uther Jones. - Lavish decorations of paper hearts and cupids were throughout the house. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher of Ogden Og-den were guests of honor. Fifty-eight club members were present. Wednesday afternoon Mrs. D. L. Evans, Jr., was hostess at bridge-' Valentine ; decorations were effectively arranged j around the rooms. The guests were seated at eight tables. Following the game a luncheon was served. The hostess was assisted by her sister. Miss Myrle Thomas. One of the enjoyable events of the week was the neighborhood surprise party given Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. R. L. Campbell. Bridge was enjoyed and luncheon was served. The Kensington- club met Thursday afternoon with Mrs. James Anderson. A large attendance was .present and after a pleasant afternoon sewing a social hour was enjoyed. , The. Cleo circle met Friday with Mrs. Thomas. Sewing and cards were features. fea-tures. Refreshments were served. Miss Elizabeth McDougal was hostess at the meeting of the Ladies' Aid society so-ciety of the Presbyterian church Friday afternoon. Mrs. R. T. Owens returned Friday from St. George, where she spent the past three months. Mrs. Bay Thompson is visiting with relatives at Sugar City. |
