Show iM IS PLANNED II THE SECOiO WARD Will Open Next Tuesday Evening and Continue Until Thursday. Under the general direction of L. Frank Branting, a fair will be given in the Second ward amusement hall on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. Committees have been at work, under Mr. Branting, for some time and the fair is expected to prove a big success. It is an annual affair and the general public is invited. in-vited. The programme for the various days has been announced as follows: Tuesday at 8 p. in. Selection, Trowbridge Trow-bridge orchestra; song, the Rubes' quartette; quar-tette; character dance, Florence Cool: and Jean Ellerman; vocal solo, "Madam Vivascp"; Spanish dance, Miss Daphne CrB; child impersonations, Irene -ariklvn; komique duet, George Cro-""ntn Cro-""ntn and Thelma Cronin; whistling selection, selec-tion, Ev-va Osborne; Dutch treat, E. L. .Tudd, Emma E. Lindsay; violin boIo, Mav Anderson; ventriloquist stunt, Wifliam Cummings. Wednesdav night at 8 o'clock "Old-Time "Old-Time Minstrels," assisted by Apollo orchestra. Those who will participate are Ed Midgley, L. Frank Branting, Paul Talmage, George Sainsbury, Harold Har-old Dainsbury. It. H. Siddoway, H. A. White, Samuel Christensen, A. J. Elg-gren, Elg-gren, Charles E. Bose, George Bowles, John P. Robinson, Sig Jensen, Victor Krantz, Grace Smith, Laura Smith, Evelyn Beuhler and Sadie Cook. Those in eliarge are R. It. Siddoway, director; Thomas Brown, accompanist; H. C. Iverson, interlocutor. Thursday afternoon at 2:30 Selection, Selec-tion, girls', chorus; reading, Mabel White; song and dance, Ruth Showell and Diria Johnson; duet, Graco Trowbridge Trow-bridge and Margaret Wetzell; colonial dance, Campbell sisters; violin solo, piano accompaniment, Edna and Evelyn Pritchard; selection, boys' chorus. Helen Hel-en Croft and Bessie Nickerson will be the accompanists. Thursday evening will be known as "A Night With the Deseret Gymnasium." Gymnasi-um." The programme will consist of clown tnmbling, dancing, club swinging, motion pictures taken in the gymnasium gymnasi-um and a talk on gym activity. The fair will close" Friday night with a carnival and grand ball. Music will be furnished by the Apollo orchestra, consisting of H. C. Sandberg, Thomas W. Brown, William King and C. F. Fisher. |
