The board of pardons yesterday heard forty-seven applications for pardon, commutation, parole and termination of sentence yesterday at its session at the state prison. Haworth, convicted of murder in tho district court of Davis county and sentenced to be shot September 14, 1900, whose sentence was later commuted to life imprisonment, asking for a pardon, was denied.
