Show BROWNING WILL SHOW PDL1SHEDCHASSIS Exhibit of Overland and Willys-Knight to Include Famous Feature. When the fourth Salt Lake auto show opens Tuesday visitors will have an opportunity of seeing in the Browning Brown-ing Automobile & Supply company booth one of tho rarest displays ever offered in the intermountain region. One of the most commanding cars at the show will be the new Willys-Knight Eight, which is being offered to the public for the first time. This is the car which created such a sensation at the New York and Chicago shows and which bids fair to become one of the most popular really high-grade cars in this section of the country. It is impossible, even with the aid of pictures, to convey con-vey a good conception of the beauty of this new Willys-Knight Eight. "One has to see the car itself to appreciate its beauty, and must ride in it and drive it to really understand why the makers claim so many superiorities for it. It is not only an eight, it is a Knight eight, and Knight users claim j M. L. GRAHAM j " X f - - " ,4 Manager M. L. Graham Co. Metz. that there is more real comfort and economy in a Knight sleeve type motor than in any other type of motor. Another very interesting part of the Browning exhibit will be a polished Overland chassis, which shows in detail "what makes the wheels go round." This chassis is owned by the manufacturersthe manufac-turersthe Willys-Overland Co. of Toledo, To-ledo, and was loaned to Brownings for' the show. Sales Manager Edmonds of the Browning compauy says that he will have a. competent man on the job all the time to explain the workings of this machine, and he cordially invites everyone, every-one, whether a prospective purchaser or not, to examine it in detail. The new little sport model known as the Country Club has been exhibited at all of the eastern shows, and' has won its way into the hearts of the people peo-ple wherever shown. A few of these cars are now to be seen on the atreets of Salt Lake, and many more are sold for delivery as soon as they arrive from the factory. The seating arrangement I of this car is exceptionally well worked : out, the makers claming that it has I more room than any other "Clover jLeaf" or "Chummy'' roadster on the i market. This car is equipped with such i high-grade parts as Timken bearings, j Auto Lite starting and lighting systems, j Houck wire wheels, etc. A very interesting feature of Browning's Brown-ing's exhibit is the fact that all cars shown will be strictly stock cars. In ; other words, with the exception of the polished chassis (which is special only i m its finish) all the cars shown are exactly the same as the cars the salesmen sales-men will try to sell you. Owingj to space at" the show being limited it will be impossible to display j the complete Overland line, which com-! com-! prises seven different designs of chassis i and twentv-one body styles. The com-j com-j plete line, nowever. will be shown at the company's show rooms on Auto How. |
