Show PRESTON, IDA, f 4 -f PRESTOX, Idaho. Feb. IT. A reception was given Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. 6. Smith by the I'nion Social club, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. C. Kellopgr. who Iave soon for Montana, Mon-tana, In behalf of the- members of the club "Mrs. H. Burchell presented Mrs. Kellogg with a souvenir silver spoon. Music and games were the features of the evening. Covers were laid for, besides be-sides the guests of honor. Messrs. and Meedames Anthony Blackwell. D. U Pack. J. Barnes, D. Morbv, J. Heywood, H. Chatterton. it. Burchell, Mrs. R. Hey-wood. Hey-wood. Mrs. R. S. Klnter, Mrs, Bert Hanks, Messrs. Harry Burchell, Milford Kellogg, and the Misses Mabel Smith and Elvira Christenson. Mrs. D. G. Eatnes returned last week from a trip to Boise, where she visited with' friends and relatives. Mrs. W. Lohman was a week-end guest of relatives at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Von Belnap entertained Monday evening In honor of Miss Ruby Nlelson. Cards were played and luncheon lunch-eon was served to six guests. Mrs. Carl Sundwall returned to her home in Fatrvtew, Utah. Saturday, after spending a couple of weeks visiting here with her sister, Mrs. F. O. Hales. Wednesday evening s. married folks' dance was given in the Blue Villa hall. Mrs. Robert Reese and children spent last week in Lewlston. Utah, as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. Pond. Mrs. Li. Gooch was hostess Tuesday afternoon to the Women of Woodcraft in honor of five new members who are to be- initiated to the circle at the next meeting, to 'be held Tuesday, February 20. Luncheon was served to fourteen members. Among the dancing parties of the season sea-son given by the Oneida Stake academy, the annual junior prom dance given Thursday evening at the Jseilson gymnasium gymna-sium was the leading one. i Mrs. G. Paull very delightfully entertained enter-tained the members of the Golden Hour club Thursday afternoon. Th& time was spent In art needle work, music and dancing. Pink and white carnations were used for decorating throughout the house. A luncheon was served on small tables, with crystal bowls of pink carnations car-nations as cerrterpieces. Mrs. Wilford Thorpe and Mrs. Harley Greaves were house guesta. Eleven members of the I club were present. I |
