Show 4 SHIPS DESTROYED 111 'BIB) ZONE' Five Lives Lost and Nine Men Missing; All the Vessels British. By International News Service. NEW YOBK, Feb. 17. Four British steamships, one of them apparently a German vessel interned at the outbreak of the war and later pressed into service under the British flag, were reported by Lloyd 's today as' having fallen victims to the German "barred zone." One was destroyed by a mine, the three others by U-boats. The aggregate tonnage of the four ships lost was 74S5. Five lives were lost on two of the ships. Nine are missing. Three men were killed when the steamer Queenswood was sunk and two lost their lives when the Lady Ann struck a mine. Today's toll brings the total number of ships sunk since February to 119 and the total tonnage destroyed 231,831. These figures are based only on data given out by British sources.
