Show ADMIRAL ADVOCATES NAVY SECOND TO NONE 4 NEW YORK, Feb. IT. A navy second to none in the world and an army of 1.000,000 men a year under universal military mili-tary training were urged here today by Rear Admiral French E. Chadwick, TJ. S. N., retired, who spoke on "Our International Inter-national Relations After the War" at a luncheon at the Lawyers' club. "We oursehes have come to the part-in? part-in? ot" the ways," declared Rear Admiral Chadwick. "We have got to face the music mu-sic of actualities. We can drift no longer. The first and fundamental thing', if we are to save our country as a distinct nation, na-tion, is to recognize that we are only in the early stages of forming a nationality; that we must integrate our many widely distinct elements and not tend to disintegrate disin-tegrate them through the passions that have arisen during this war." |
