Show CONTAGION IN CITY ON THE DECREASE Only thirty-eight cases of measles were reported during the week ending Friday, February 16. according to the board of health" statistics, which, say the health authorities, shows a noticeable notice-able decrease from several weeks ago. There were twenty-four new cases of scarlet fever reported and ten cases of chickenpox. The total number of contagions con-tagions diseases reported during the week was seventv-six. Fifty-two births were reported during dur-ing the week, twenty males and thirty, two females. This is a decrease of fivc births as compared to the correspond- ing week a year ago. Only twenty-eight twenty-eight deaths were reported. i |
