The performance was given in behalf of the kiddies and only the i ream of the acts was used. 1-luancial-lv the 1917 Klks' show surpassed any formerly presented. The audience was convulsed .when William Crowley, who sprung the cockroach cock-roach gap, was presented with a pneumatic pneu-matic cockroach two feet in length. V. S. Theobold, manager of the United States Tire company, made the presentation. presen-tation. .Harold McXulty won instantaneous instanta-neous approval with "Your Great Big Baby Smile." Kay M. drier related "The Down-town Poker Club" in his inimitable manner, and drew laugh upon laugh. ' Marked improvement was manifest in tlie chorus. The songs went off with iust the desirable snap and vim. Other distinct hits of the performance were Dolly Christenseu in "A Few Moments; of Grace;" Parke Vater with his artistic artis-tic comedy sketching: the Harmony trio in their " Xigger. Afterpiece, ; ' and Dor-1 othy Lynn with Japanese character I dancing. |
