Show yimoiwH Expert Makes Favorable Report on Property in Big Wyoming Field. Word has been received in the officer of-ficer of the Uinta. Oil & Refining com-jirmv com-jirmv from its expert, who has recently taken eliarge of the active development work of this company. The report is entirely favorable and A. AV. Freeman states that he finds the formation in that field as favorable for big production pro-duction as any field he has operated in. Gas mounds frequently issuing a natural gas. as well as oil sands reached bv the drill in the last bole, indicate a flow of oil at shallow depth. The company is endeavoring to raise necessary funds to put another drill in the field. At present only one eighty-five-foot standard rig is being used. Remarkable progress was shown oy this organization in extending their holdings to the. present large acreage and install-iiifti install-iiifti drilling rig in a comparatively rinrrt time. The treasurer. L. E. El'gren, reports financial conditions satisfactory. Considerable Con-siderable interest is shown by local investors. in-vestors. M. L. Hill, president of the M. L. Hill Realty company, is one of the latest investors. General Manager Arnreiter states that at the present rate of development the oil sands should be reached in the course of a couple of months. C. Y. Whitchurch, secretary of the company, has taken management of the field office at Mountain View, Wyo. |
