Show PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO MURDER CHARGES Time for Trial of George Panos on T-wo Counts of Alleged Killing Will Be Set Later. George Tanos, alleged to have killed James. Shlevenis and George Sallas at Bingham . January 27, 1916, entered pleas of not guilty to the two counts of first-degree murder w-hen arraigned before Judge J. Louis Brown yesterday yester-day morning. Time fr trial was not set. Previously convicted of a statutory offense, John Q. Palmer was sentenced to an ludeternunate term in the state prison. A like sentence was imposed upon Rudy Simmons for a like offense. Indeterminate termB were imposed npon E. L. Miller and Senate Sherwood, Sher-wood, convicted of robbery. George Jngham entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of assault with intent in-tent to commit murder. He is alleged to have attacked Policeman A. L. Thorpe on February 7, 1917. A plea of not guilty to a statutory-charge statutory-charge was entered by Joe Pelaney. Miles Owens, pleading guilty to a statutory charge, was sentenced to serve fouT months in the couuty jail. |
