Show 11 II CIRCUS More Than 300 Already Selected Se-lected to Participate in Big Event. The herculean task of converting the Dcseret gymnasium into a monster circus cir-cus arena will begin in earnest tomorrow tomor-row morning in anticipation of the Desyrel Des-yrel Gymodrome, which is to be staged Alarcb 2S and 20 by the members of the gymnasium, assisted by more than 100 of the prominent citizens of Salt Lake. The completed programme, as approved by the general committee at its meeting yesterday, requires the participation par-ticipation of nearly 300 persons, and two features tentatively decided upon will materially increase that number. In addition, there are nearly 100 persons per-sons working on the various committees and still others will participate in tie grand tree street parade planned for iif-sdny, March 2$. rhe programme, as approved by the committee and upon which active work will begin Monday morning, will eom-jwiso eom-jwiso the following features: Grand processional entrance of the entire troupe of artists, bands, acrobats, trained animals, dancers, athletes, clowns, cadets, Indians, Japanese, etc.; the Imperial German Ger-man turnverein in exhibitions extraordinary; ex-traordinary; the Japanese ballet, the Indian ballet, the clown ballet; the Ioyal American cadets in military mili-tary maneuvers charasteriatic; the Athletic Carnival Unique, in which 100 athletes will riartiHnnte. rAnrft- senting all phases of athletics; the (engross of "Royal Jesters; classical -groupings by the "Eou-meli": Crcatore's band, Sousa's band and the Oymodroine baud. The parade committee ha6 completed its plans, and Chairman E. S. Woodruff announces that it will be not. less than half a mile long and entirely different from snv street parade ever staged here. There will be real live animals, floats of uniquo and original design, three bands, fifty clowns and a variety of miscellaneous features entirely away from the usual circus parade atvle. An effort is being made to got permission to use Princess Alice and other animals from the Liberty park, zoo, and there is every indication that the effort will bo successful.
