Like the little American-born boy impressed im-pressed with the beauties of Japan on his first visit, terming it "fairyland," so the little Chinese-born girl looks with wide open eyes on the ways and aspect of America, for after all it is only the btrange things which seem marvelous. Her mother, Mrp. O. H. Kitter, formerly for-merly Miss Lucy Corker, of Salt Lake City, is here visiting her sister, Mrs. W.'O. Cleland. Her rather is connected with a Chinese Mail Steamship companv. com-panv. Mrs. Eitter and her husband became be-came engaged in this country. She joined Mr. Kitter in Shanghai, where thev were married, and this is her first visit to Salt Lake since she left ten years ago. |
