Mrs. Jane CarlBon and Miss Eva Carlson Carl-son entertained Wednesday afternoon at a kitchen shower In compliment to Miss Merle Eatchel, a bride of the week. Pink carnations were usod to ' decorate the rooms. The afternoon was spent in games, followed by refreshments. Those present were Mrs. J. Drlnkwater, Mrs. A. Gardener, Mrs. P. Bentz, Mrs. J. James, Mrs. T. Burch, Mrs. Edgar Eatchel, Mrs. J. P. Cahoon, Mrs. J. M. Watson, Mrs. F. Kemp. Mrs. Esther Scott, Mrs. E. Jordan, Jor-dan, Mrs. C. Eatchel and Miss Nina Scott. The Second ward held Its annual reunion re-union Wednesday at the amusement hall. A programme was given at 1 o'clock, after which dinner was served. Dancing was enjoyed until a late hour. The members of the Jolly Twenty-eight club were entertaied Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Howe. Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. David Frame entertained the members of the medical staff and nurses of the junior and senior classes of the county hospital. The evening was spent in games, after which refreshments were served. The guests were Dr. and Mrs. C. N. Ray, Dr. and Mrs. V. L, Clark, Dr. and Mrs. Claude Shields. Mr. and Mrs. J. Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wheeler, Miss Mary H. Hansen, Han-sen, Miss Rita Eggertson, Miss Elvera Ernstrom, Miss Nettie Bruce, Miss Evelyn Jensen. Miss Hilda Dalton. Miss Belinda Johnson, Miss Gaynelle Sinch, Miss Margaret Mar-garet Hand, Miss M. Miller and Miss Louise Bowman. The wedding of Miss Merle Eatchel and CharJes Watson took place Thursday evening in Salt Lake at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Watson, 1506 Ninth East street. The ceremony was performed by Judge W. Booth of Provo. A reception for Intimate friends followed. Mr. and Mrs. Watson will make their home in Mid-vale. Mid-vale. The Ladies' Aid society of the Baptist church was entertained Wednesday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. William G, Churches. Those present were Mrs. G. W. Granter, Mrs. E. Hickman, Mrs. William Wil-liam Robblna, Mrs. J. W. Herling. Mrs. A. Bradford, Mrs. G. Huscher, Mrs. J. P. Cahoon, Mrs. A. Knott, Mrs. F. H. Green, Mrs. L Martin. Mrs. D. A. McMillan, Mc-Millan, Mrs. C. Evans, Mrs. I. Hadley and Mrs. W. Dow. Mr. and Mrs. William Feeder of Welser, Idaho, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Coakley during the week. Mrs. G. Wells entertained at dinner Wednesday for her mother, Mrs. J. P. Freeze. The members of the South Cottonwood Relief society were entertained Wednesday Wednes-day at the home of Mrs. Harry Ballard. Thirty guests were present. Mrs. James H. Gilbert has as her guest her mother, Mrs. R. Ruthwrlght of Black-foot, Black-foot, Idaho. Mrs. C. E. Bow ers and son Jack of San Diego are guests of Mr. ar.d Mrs. J. H. Bens. Mr. and Mrs. T. Hadley entertn ined twelve guests at dinner Friday evening in compliment to Mrs. C. E.
