Show CABIN DEMOLISHED BY BIG SNOWSLIDE The Cabin of Jack Brown, just above the "Sta irs ' ' in Big Cottonwood canyon, was carried awav and buried by" an avalanche vesterdav. Two horses belonging be-longing to Banks Brothers of Murray were buried in the slide. Brown is the city's patrolman of the waterway to the ten-mile limit. It was first reported that two prospectors pros-pectors wore in the cabin when it was covered by the mass of snow. Deputy Sheriffs O. E. Woods, W. L. Goodsell, Ed Lnrsen and E. H. Bird, together with citizens of Murray, were organizing organiz-ing a rescue party when denial was received re-ceived of. the reported loss of the two men. They had been accounted for. The slide, which was about seven miles up the canyon from .the mouth, was exceptionally large, and it is predicted pre-dicted bv those acquainted with the canyon that others will occur. |
