WYOMING RANCHERS IN FEAR OF RABIES Special to The Tribune. KBMMERER, Wyo., March 17. It Is believed that rabies among coyotes and doss has reached Wyoming from states on the west. If the story told by a negro employed on the Jack Eaton ranch near Sage Is true, the epidemic has made Its Initial appearance in Wyoming near that town. ' i A few days ago while the negro was making his way from the E. W. Smith ranch to that of his employer he was1 caught in a severe blizzard and became lost. While wandering about he was suddenly confronted by a coyote that frothed at the mouth and lunged toward him as if to attack him. A well-aimed shot from the negro dispatched the animal. ani-mal. The ranchmen of the Sage country are going about armed as a result of the negro's story.
