Show j NEPHI " NEPHI. March 17. Mr. and Mrs. S. R-Winn R-Winn gave a wedding reception Saturday night in honor of their daughter. Ruby, wiio was married to Wit ford Bailey in the Salt Lake temple Wednesday, March 7. About sixty invited guests were present. Pink and white roses and carnations were used in decorations. Supper was served at 6 o'clock. Those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. William Bailey of Sterling and Mr. and Mrs. II. Lee Bnyer of Springviile. Monday evening the Ladies' Literary club met at t he home of Mrs. N. J. Rees. The following programme was carried out: A paper, "Shakespeare and His Contemporaries," Mrs. W. F. Brough ; reading, "The Taming of the Shrew," Miss Claire Stewart. Those present were 1 William Bailev, Mrs. J. L. Belliston, Mrs. W. F. Brough, Mrs. J. E. Cole, Mrs. . J. W. Ellison, Mrs. E. R. Forrest, Mrs. S. B. McCune, Mrs. W. C. Andrews, Mrs. A. H. Maibcn. Mrs. M. L. Sowbv. Mrs. T. D. Reos, Mrs. N. J. Rees, Mrs. Earl Thompson of Ogden, Mrs. Lydia Thompson, Thomp-son, Misses Bertha. Mcpherson, Geneva Booth and Claire Stewart. Misses Tdale Pitt, Diane Goldsbrough and Vivian Broadhead were hostesses at a shower Friday night in honor of Miss Delia McCune. who leaves soon for a mission mis-sion to the eastern states. The dining room was beautifully decorated with pink roses and tulips. The parlor of the Goldsbrough home was made attractive with carnations and sweet peas. Covers were laid for Misses Delia McCune, Or-sena Or-sena Cazier, Rut h Sperry, Georgia McCune. Mc-Cune. Ruth Jones. Esther Evans, Sadie Ockey, LaVell Ockey and Mrs. C. R. Jenkins. Miss l-uclle Cowan entertained the Potpourri Pot-pourri girls Thursday evening at progressive progres-sive "oOO." Lunch was served, after which the evening was spent in playing cards. |
