EQUALIZERS TO FIX RAIL VALUATIONS Members of the state board of equalization equal-ization will shortly make a tour of inspection in-spection over all railroad lines of the state for the purpose of gathering information in-formation for the fixing of the valuation valua-tion on the property of tho several transportation lines. The principal railroads of the state are at the present time valued on the tax bonks as follows: Southern Pacific, Pa-cific, $sl.fiOO per mile; Oregon Short Line. 7;V0 per mile; Denver & Rio Grande. $S).()00 per mile and the Salt Lake Route and Western Pacific. $37 -OOi' per mile. ' ' The report is current that some of these Valuations are to be increased.
