DEMOCRATS WILL CAUCUS MARCH 28 Focitello Bourbons to Hold Ward Meetings Meet-ings to Elect Delegates to City Nominating Convention. Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Idaho, March 17. At a well-attended meeting of leading Democrats held in the city hall Friday evening it was decided to hold ward caucuses "Wednesday evening. March 28, for the purpose of electing delegates to a city .nominating convention to te held Tuesday evening, April 3. The advisability of circulating petitions peti-tions to invoke the "city manager" plan as provided in a bill introduced by Senator B. A. Cummings, and which passed the last Bession of the legislature, legisla-ture, was discussed at some length. Under the provisions of another act passed at the recent session of the legislature legis-lature all councilmen are elected at large a.nd the mayor, by and with the approval of the council, names the other city officials. tt was decided that under this law it would be possible to strengthen the city government, but if it should prove unsatisfactory the city manager plan will doubtless be invoked at an early date. Unusnal interest and enthusiasm was manifested by the assembled Bourbons, who are confident of being able to carry the city in the coming election. The question of makiDg municipal ownership one of the issues of the eompaign was taken up and indorsed.
